The Diocese of Alexandria is a Latin Church diocese in central Louisiana, erected in 1853 (originally as the Diocese of Natchitoches) and suffragan to the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Bishop Robert W. Marshall Jr. has served as the 13th bishop since his installation in August 2020.
