History
In Mato Grosso do Sul state, in southwestern inland Brazil, the Latin Church maintains the Diocese of Coxim (Latin: Dioecesis Coxinensis), a suffragan of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Campo Grande. Its cathedral, the Catedral São José in the city of Coxim, is dedicated to Saint Joseph.
