History
A Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in Brazil, Ipameri (Latin: Dioecesis Ipameriensis) is suffragan to the metropolitan Archdiocese of Goiânia. Its cathedral, the Catedral Divino Espírito Santo, dedicated to the Holy Spirit, stands in the episcopal see of Ipameri. José Francisco Rodrigues do Rêgo currently serves as its bishop.
