Latin-rite apostolic prefecture in Hubei province, China, erected in 1937 from territory of the Apostolic Vicariate of Hankou. It is an exempt, dormant jurisdiction directly dependent on the Holy See: vacant since 1951 and without even an apostolic administrator since 1981.

History
Formerly known as Sui County (simplified Chinese: 随县; traditional Chinese: 隨縣; pinyin: Suí Xian, Suixian), Suizhou (simplified Chinese: 随州; traditional Chinese: 隨州; pinyin: Suízhōu) is a prefecture-level city in northern Hubei province, People's Republic of China, with Henan province lying to its north and east.
