The Diocese of Limburg is a Latin Church diocese spanning parts of Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, established in 1821 and a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Cologne. It is led by Bishop Georg Batzing, who served as president of the German Bishops' Conference from 2020 until February 2026.

History
Belonging to the ecclesiastical province of Cologne, with the Archdiocese of Cologne as its metropolitan see, the Diocese of Limburg (Latin: Dioecesis Limburgensis) spans parts of the states of Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. Its cathedral is St George's Cathedral in Limburg an der Lahn, while its largest church is Frankfurt Cathedral, St. Bartholomew.
