History

Belonging to the ecclesiastical province of Cologne, with the Archdiocese of Cologne as its metropolitan see, the Diocese of Limburg (Latin: Dioecesis Limburgensis) spans parts of the states of Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. Its cathedral is St George's Cathedral in Limburg an der Lahn, while its largest church is Frankfurt Cathedral, St. Bartholomew.

  • Sisters attend Ministrantentag in Limburg

    Sister Hanna and Sister Maria Manuela attended the Ministrantentag in the Diocese of Limburg. As part of the Mobile Kloster, they participated in the event held in the garden of the priestly seminary. The sisters played games such as leader golf and mini table tennis, provided information about their religious community, and assisted at a tattoo station. They spoke with priests, deacons, helpers, and various youth and adults. The event included a question session with the bishop for approximately 500 altar servers. Following the session, the group processed in their liturgical vestments through the old town to Limburg Cathedral for a communal Mass.
