Latin-rite diocese in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, established on 2 November 1949 from territory of the Dioceses of Cartagena, Cuenca and Orihuela, and suffragan of the Archdiocese of Toledo. Its seat is the Cathedral of St John the Baptist in Albacete. Bishop Angel Roman Idigoras was appointed on 6 March 2025 and ordained on 3 May 2025.

Albacete, a city in Spain, is the seat of a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church (Latin: Dioecesis Albasitensis), within the ecclesiastical province of Toledo.
