The Eparchy of Saint Vladimir-le-Grand de Paris is the Ukrainian Greek Catholic (Byzantine rite) jurisdiction for Ukrainian Catholics in France and neighboring countries, erected as an exarchate on 22 July 1960 and elevated to an eparchy on 19 January 2013; it is immediately subject to the Holy See within the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Its cathedral is the Cathedral of St. Volodymyr in Paris.

History

Five countries, France, Belgium, Luxemburg, the Netherlands and Switzerland, together form the territory of the Eparchy of Saint Volodymyr the Great of Paris (French: Éparchie Saint Volodymyr-le-Grand de Paris des Ukrainiens; Ukrainian: Єпархія Святого Володимира Великого у Парижі). The jurisdiction belongs to the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, a sui iuris Eastern Catholic Church in full communion with the Catholic Church. From the episcopal see of Paris, the Cathédrale Saint-Volodymyr-le-Grand serves as its cathedral.
