The Diocese of Paisley is a Latin rite diocese covering Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Inverclyde in Scotland, erected on 25 May 1947 from the Archdiocese of Glasgow. It is the smallest Scottish diocese by area and a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Glasgow. Its seat is St Mirin's Cathedral in Paisley.

History
Erected on 25 May 1947 out of the Archdiocese of Glasgow, the Diocese of Paisley (Latin: Dioecesis Pasletana) is a diocese of the Latin Church of the Catholic Church in Scotland. Its territory corresponds to the historic county of Renfrewshire (today the local government areas of Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Inverclyde). At 580 km2 (220 sq mi), it is the smallest Scottish diocese by area.
