The Diocese of Reykjavik is a Latin-rite diocese covering all of Iceland, established as an apostolic prefecture in 1923, an apostolic vicariate in 1929, and a diocese on 18 October 1968. It is exempt, directly subject to the Holy See, with the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King (Landakotskirkja) in Reykjavik. Bishop David Bartimej Tencer, O.F.M. Cap., has led the diocese since 2015, serving about 14,700 Catholics (2022).

All of Iceland falls within a single Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church, the Diocese of Reykjavík (Latin: Dioecesis Reykiavikensis), which counted 14,723 Catholics as of 2022. It is directly subject to the Holy See.
