The Diocese of Kabgayi is a Latin Catholic diocese in Rwanda, established as a diocese in 1976 and tracing its roots to the 1922 Vicariate Apostolic of Ruanda. A suffragan of Kigali, it has been led since 2023 by Bishop Balthazar Ntivuguruzwa.

History

The city of Kabgayi in Rwanda gives its name to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kabgayi (Latin: Kabgayen(sis)), which lies within the ecclesiastical province of Kigali.
