The Archdiocese of Lusaka is the Latin metropolitan see of Zambia, founded as the Apostolic Prefecture of Broken Hill in 1927 and elevated to a metropolitan archdiocese in 1959. It is led by Archbishop Alick Banda and oversees the suffragan dioceses of Chipata, Livingstone, Mongu, and Monze.

History
Zambia's national primatial see, the Archdiocese of Lusaka (Archidioecesis Lusakensis), is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory of the Catholic Church. Its cathedral episcopal see is the Cathedral of the Child Jesus in Lusaka, the national capital.
What is kept by invitation
