Military Ordinariate of Kenya

The Military Ordinariate of Kenya is a Latin Church jurisdiction providing pastoral care to Catholics in the Kenya Defence Forces and their families. Established as a military vicariate in 1964 and elevated to a military ordinariate on 21 July 1986, it is immediately subject to the Holy See.

Catholics serving in the Kenyan Armed Forces, together with their families, receive pastoral care through the Military Ordinariate of Kenya, a Latin Church jurisdiction of the Catholic Church that is immediately exempt to the Holy See.
