Military Ordinariate of Uganda

The Military Ordinariate of Uganda is a Latin Church jurisdiction serving Catholics in the Uganda People's Defence Force and their families. Established as a military vicariate in 1964 and elevated to a military ordinariate on 21 July 1986, the see has been vacant since the death of Archbishop James Odongo on 4 December 2020.

History
Roman Catholics serving in the Uganda People's Defence Force, along with their families, are served by the Military Ordinariate of Uganda, a military ordinariate of the Roman Catholic Church that answers immediately to the Holy See.
