History
In the province of Misamis Occidental, the Archdiocese of Ozamis serves as a metropolitan Latin Catholic archdiocese of the Philippines. Its cathedral is the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Ozamiz City, and Martin Jumoad is the present archbishop. A note on spelling: the archdiocese is officially Ozamis, while the city where it sits is spelled Ozamiz.
