The Diocese of Port Victoria is the only Latin Catholic diocese in the Seychelles, with its see in the capital Victoria. Established as an apostolic prefecture in 1852 and erected as a diocese in 1892, it is immediately subject to the Holy See and remains under missionary jurisdiction.
