Armenian Catholic ordinariate for Armenian-rite faithful in Romania, formally erected on 5 June 1930 under the 1927 Concordat, with its principal church the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Gherla. The see is vacant and has long been entrusted to the Latin Archbishop of Alba Iulia as apostolic administrator, currently Gergely Kovacs. Its community numbered only several hundred faithful as of 2013.

History
Based in Gherla, the Ordinariate for Armenian Catholics of Romania (Romanian: Ordinariatul Armeano-Catolic) is an ordinariate for Eastern Catholic faithful belonging to the Armenian Catholic Church, which itself stands under the authority of the Pope. Its care extends to Catholic members of Romania's Armenian community living in Transylvania.
