History
Known also as the St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Diocese of Chicago, the Eparchy of St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic of Chicago is an ecclesiastical territory of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church in the United States. The episcopal see is Chicago, where the Mar Thoma Sleeha Cathedral serves as its seat. The Most Reverend Mar Joy Alappatt has led the eparchy as bishop since October 2022.
