The Apostolic Vicariate of Istanbul is a Latin jurisdiction in northwestern Turkey immediately subject to the Holy See, established in 1742 as the Apostolic Vicariate of Constantinople. Its apostolic vicar is Massimiliano Palinuro, appointed in 2021.

History
Istanbul, Turkey is the seat of a Roman Catholic apostolic vicariate, known in Latin as the Vicariatus Apostolicus Istanbulensis. Answering immediately to the Holy See rather than to any metropolitan, the vicariate covers the northwestern part of the country. Msgr Massimiliano Palinuro currently serves as its Vicar Apostolic.
