Diocese of Tricarico holds pastoral assembly
Bishop Benoni presided over the diocesan assembly to begin the new pastoral year on Saturday, September 26, at the Mater Ecclesiæ pastoral center in Garaguso Scalo. The bishop presented the pastoral guidelines for the upcoming year, noting that after a period of learning to listen, communities are now called to learn how to discern together. He stated that these local directions align with the Italian Episcopal Conference's recent guidelines, titled Radicati e costruiti in Cristo. Those national priorities include centering the gift of faith, promoting community life, developing differentiated co-responsibility, and checking the adequacy of Church structures.
