History
Based in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC) is a major archiepiscopal sui iuris ("autonomous") Eastern Catholic church, a particular church of the Catholic Church in full communion with the Holy See. Its major archbishop, at present Sviatoslav Shevchuk, presides over the whole Church, which regards itself as successor to the Metropolis of Kiev and all Rus', established in 988 after the Christianization of Kievan Rus' by Grand Prince Vladimir the Great.
What is kept by invitation
The record above is published because it is public: what this see is, when it was erected, who holds its chair, and where it stands among its neighbours.
The working record is not. The chancery's address, telephone and email, the clergy of the see, and the hours of Mass, confession and adoration in the parishes within it are kept for members, and a person reads every request.
