The Diocese of Pangkalpinang is a Latin Church diocese covering the Bangka Belitung Islands and Riau Islands, suffragan to the Archdiocese of Palembang. It was established as an apostolic prefecture in 1923 and promoted to a diocese on January 3, 1961.
