The Diocese of Kagoshima is a Latin rite see in southern Kyushu, Japan, established as a prefecture in 1927 and raised to a diocese in 1955. Suffragan to the Archdiocese of Nagasaki, its patron is St. Francis Xavier and it has been led since 2018 by Bishop Francis Xavier Hiroaki Nakano.
