Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

The Diocese of Bergamo will host monthly community prayer meetings for people experiencing hardship, starting October 10. Organized by Bishop Francesco, the sessions will take place from 15.30 to 17.30 at the Santuario Madonna dei Campi in Stezzano.

A diocesan team of priests, laity, religious, consecrated persons, and permanent deacons will lead the meetings. The gatherings are intended for those facing physical suffering, grief, spiritual distress, or those returning to the faith after alternative religious experiences. People may also attend to pray for the intercession of friends and family.

The prayer service will include moments of invocation to the Spirit, listening to the Word, catechesis, adoration, and intercessory prayer. Confessors will be present. Meetings are scheduled for October 10, November 14, December 12, 2026, January 9, February 13, March 13, April 10, May 8, and June 5, 2027.
