Diocese of Bergamo to celebrate 100th World Mission Day

The Diocese of Bergamo will observe the 100th World Mission Day on October 17, 2026, under the theme "One in Christ. United in mission." The diocese has scheduled several events throughout October to mark the missionary month.

On Thursday, October 1, at 20.30, parishes including S. Francesco (Bergamo), Almé, Calusco, Gromo S. Marino, Lallio, Lurano, Sarnico, Scanzo, S. Pellegrino, and Valtrighe will hold a prayer service to open the missionary month. On Tuesday, October 6, at 18.00, monasteries in the diocese will hold simultaneous Eucharistic celebrations.

A vigil and missionary mandate will take place at the Cattedrale di Bergamo on Friday, October 16, at 20.30. The 100th World Mission Day activities will continue on Saturday, October 17, and Sunday, October 18.
