150,000 people have registered to attend celebrations led by Pope Leo XIV in Lourdes, according to the Sanctuary's communications office. The Sanctuary closed registration for individuals and groups to ensure security and organization for the expected crowds.

The Pope is scheduled to preside over celebrations on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27. Those who registered before the deadline have secured their places but cannot make further changes to their registration. The Sanctuary is emailing these individuals with entry permits to be presented at the Prairie or Esplanade entrances.

The Sanctuary recommended early registration to help facilitate participation in the Mass and the Rosary prayer. While 150,000 people will gather to pray with the Pope, the communications office stated that millions more will join the events via radio and television.
