Diocese of Jaffna commemorates 20th anniversary of Allaipiddy church shelling

The Diocese of Jaffna held a commemoration at St. Philip Neri’s Church in Allaipiddy on August 13 to mark the 20th anniversary of a shelling attack that killed civilians.

The event was organized under the guidance of the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Leo. The shelling, which allegedly was carried out by the Sri Lankan armed forces, occurred at the church.
