25-lecie Hospicjum Caritas w Olsztynie

Archbishop Józef Górzyński celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Caritas Hospice of the Archdiocese of Warmia by presiding over a thanksgiving Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Olsztyn.

The director of Caritas of the Archdiocese of Warmia, Father Paweł Zięba, welcomed staff and guests to the start of the jubilee celebrations. He stated that the event serves to thank God for the years of service provided to the sick and to pray for patients, employees, volunteers, and supporters.

During his homily, Archbishop Górzyński spoke about the inherent dignity of every person, noting that Christ shows the world that even those who are rejected or suffering possess a divine dignity. He observed that while the world often measures humanity through success and rejects those experiencing hardship, Christian values require recognizing the depth of humanity in the most helpless and humiliated individuals.
