Աշոցքի «Տիրամայր Նարեկի» հիվանդանոցը տոնեց իր 35-ամյա հոբելյանը

Staff at the Mother Narek Hospital in Ashots celebrated the 35th anniversary of the hospital's founding on October 7, 2026.

The facility opened on October 7, 1991, following the 1988 earthquake. Hospital director Father Mario Cucarollo noted that the hospital was established with financial donations and professional support from the Italian government, the Italian Episcopal Conference, and Caritas Italia.

The anniversary ceremony included Archbishop Giuseppe Paziotto, head of the Latin Rite Catholics in Georgia and Armenia, and Archbishop Nerses Galstyan, head of the Armenian Catholic communities in Armenia. Also in attendance were Ashots community leader Karen Manukyan, Italian Ambassador to Armenia Alessandro Ferrantin and his family, local priests, hospital staff, and residents of Ashots.
