5. Susret hrvatskih katoličkih obitelji

Approximately 150 pilgrims from the Diocese of Rijeka traveled by bus to Osijek and Aljmaš on Saturday, September 19, for the 5th Meeting of Croatian Catholic Families. Organized by the Croatian Bishops' Conference and the Archdiocese of Đakovo-Osijek, the event follows the theme of being joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer.

The Saturday program includes workshops, spiritual music concerts, cultural activities, and presentations from family associations and communities in central Osijek. Participants can also access the sacrament of reconciliation and join a city walk. The first day concludes with a prayer vigil at 18:30 in the Co-cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul.

On Sunday, the gathering moves to the Svetište Gospe od Utočišta in Aljmaš for the main program. Spiritual activities begin at 9:15, followed by Holy Mass at 10. The mass will be broadcast on HRT and HKR.
