Bishop Juan Gómez confirms 58 youths in Parroquia San Pedro Apóstol

Bishop Juan Gómez, auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Santa Cruz, confirmed 58 young people at San Pedro Apóstol Parish on Saturday, October 3. The recipients completed two years of preparation, prayer, and faith formation prior to the ceremony.

During the Mass, Bishop Gómez encouraged the youth to embrace their new roles as missionary disciples. He told the group that the sacrament offers a new horizon of service and urged them to live and announce their faith without fear. He noted that the joy of the Gospel should be visible through their daily lives and how they relate to others.

The celebration was concelebrated by Father Milton Cabrita, the parish priest of San Pedro Apóstol.
