Diocese of Limeira holds 7th Horsemen's Pilgrimage

The Diocese of Limeira held the 7th Horsemen's Pilgrimage on Sunday, September 27, to begin festivities for the feast of Our Lady Aparecida. Hundreds of riders and horse-drawn carriages participated in the procession through various regions of the city.

Parish priest Father João Luis Vieira das Neves accompanied the pilgrimage and gave blessings to the riders, their families, and the attendees. The event serves as the official start of preparations for the feast of the patroness of Brazil. Religious and social activities will continue over the coming weeks, leading up to the Solemnity of Our Lady Aparecida on October 12.
