Ernesto Pérez premieres Passion of the Holy Christ of Burgos

Ernesto Pérez premiered his play, Passion of the Holy Christ of Burgos, at the Burgos Cathedral to mark the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. The production featured more than 40 actors from various theater groups and the Villadiego parish choir.

Pérez wrote the play nearly 10 years ago to share the history of the Holy Christ of Burgos sculpture and restore its universal devotion. The playwright created the work to bring past events to life through modern dramatic language.
