A Brindisi la Missione popolare dei Missionari del Preziosissimo Sangue

The Missionaries of the Most Precious Blood will lead a popular mission at the San Vito Martire parish in Brindisi through October 4. The mission begins Saturday, September 19, at 18.30 with an opening Mass and the granting of a missionary mandate.

Archbishop Giovanni Intini of Brindisi-Ostuni will preside over the opening ceremony. He stated that the mission is a divine mandate intended to speak to the hearts of the men and women of the community living in the parish territory.

Priests Flavio Calicchia and Vito Veneziano Broccia, who work with the Centro per l’Evangelizzazione della Provincia Italiana, said the mission follows the tradition of the congregation founded by san Gaspare del Bufalo in 1815. They described the mission as an opportunity for the Church to go out to people to bring the Gospel.
