A Casa Santa Marta l’incontro tra Biagio Maimone e Mons. Yoannis Lahzi Gaid

Biagio Maimone, the press office director for the Bambino Gesù Foundation of Cairo, met with the foundation's president, Monsignor Yoannis Lahzi Gaid, at Casa Santa Marta on September 8, 2026.

Monsignor Gaid, a former secretary to Pope Francis, described the foundation as a testament of love established by the Pope to support the most vulnerable people through daily work and solidarity. Maimone, who was appointed to his communications role by Monsignor Gaid more than four years ago, stated that the foundation's projects continue to carry out the Pope's message of fraternity and love.
