Szeged-Csanádi, Temesvári Római Katolikus and Nagybecskereki Egyházmegye hold joint youth meeting

Approximately 420 young people from three countries gathered in Szeged on September 19 for a joint youth meeting at the Szent Gellért Forum. Participants from the Szeged-Csanád, Temesvár Roman Catholic, and Nagybecskereke dioceses met to prepare for the 2030 millennium of the Csanád diocese.

The meeting included a procession with a two-meter wooden cross, which serves as the symbol for the Millennium Csanadiense 1030–2030 jubilee. This gathering follows a 2025 meeting in Nagycsanád and was prompted by the 50th anniversary of the Szent Gellért youth meetings.

The Nagybecskereke group was accompanied by parish priest Elias Ohoiledwarin, SVD. The Temesvár group included pastoral associate Zsolt Szilvágyi, Zoltán Kocsik, several priests, and diocesan youth leaders.
