Diocese of Charlotte to host Together in Holiness marriage conference
The Diocese of Charlotte will host the eighth annual Together in Holiness marriage conference on Nov. 21. The event, themed United in Love, is open to married and engaged couples and will run from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at St. Ann Church in Charlotte and St. Pius X Church in Greensboro.
The Marriage, Family and Life Office is organizing the conference in partnership with the St. John Paul II Foundation. Sessions will cover communion with the Holy Spirit, finding common ground in Christ, and forgiveness as a way to maintain unity. Brendan Dudley, the diocesan director for marriage preparation, enrichment, and family programs, said the conference is intended to help parishes develop year-round marriage enrichment opportunities.
The Charlotte program features Christine Wisdom, executive director of Wisdom Integrative Counseling. The Greensboro program includes marriage counselor Dr. Mario Sacasa. Both locations will host deacon and theologian Jason Bulman and his wife, Rachel Bulman, along with two other couples. Childcare is available at both sites.
