A Feast Day Filled With Joy in Kenya

Six women made their first commitments to the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth during a Mass at the SCN residence in Marereni to celebrate the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul. These women have participated in the Associate Formation program since 2024 and pledged to support the Sisters' ministries and share in the SCN charism.

The celebration followed two other recent developments for the Kenya Mission. On Sept. 25, the local school received its certificate of registration from Kenya’s Ministry of Education after nearly two years of work. On that same day, Sister Helen Sathiya received her certificate from the Teachers Service Commission, which officially recognizes her as an educator qualified for teaching and administrative roles.
