British writer Jane Campbell shared her perspectives on aging in an interview with Justyna Dąbrowska for Tygodnik Powszechny. Campbell, who debuted at age 80 with the short story collection "Czesanie kota," discussed the complexities of growing older at age 84.

Campbell noted that aging involves both gains and losses. She described feeling more confident and wise than she was at 35, stating that she is now more likely to speak her mind and less willing to tolerate injustice. While she occasionally experiences surprise at her physical appearance, she reported feeling healthy and continues to make future plans, such as a month-long trip to Bermuda for the holidays.
