A hidden chapel built over a miracle spring

An ancient spring known as tal-Fawwara sits beneath a hidden chapel in the area between Siggiewi, Rabat, and Dingli in Malta. The name tal-Fawwara translates to gushing spring, referring to the water source that historically provided an abundance of water to the land.

The spring is located near the hills of Żuta and Ġebel Ċiantar. These hills serve to shelter the surrounding area from strong winds coming from the north and northwest.
