Università Popolare «Ignazio Donati» reopens in Montopoli Valdarno

The Università Popolare «Ignazio Donati» is reopening its activities in Montopoli Valdarno this October. The school is moving to a temporary location at the Conservatorio di Santa Marta after an exceptional weather event in early September severely damaged the roof of the municipal library.

The university, which is a direct branch of the local municipal administration, will use the large hall of the former library within the Santa Marta complex until its original headquarters is repaired. The Diocese of San Miniato reports that the municipal administration provided this space to ensure the school could continue its cultural programming despite the logistical difficulties.
