A song to welcome the Successor of Peter

French singer Grégory Turpin will perform a new song, Pour que le monde ait la vie, during Pope Leo XIV’s upcoming visit to France. Turpin is scheduled to sing the piece in a duet with French-Canadian singer Natasha St-Pier at the Stade de France and in Lourdes.

The Pontifical Mission Societies of France is supporting the composition, and all proceeds from the song will be donated to support Church missions in France and globally. Turpin, who is known for musical projects inspired by Carmelite spirituality and St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus, previously collaborated with the Pontifical Mission Societies on a tour in Benin. He told Agenzia Fides that he created the song to be of service to the Pontifical Mission Societies and the papal visit.
