Bishops bless Great Bear Lake

Bishop Mark Hagemoen of Saskatoon and Bishop Jon Hansen, CSsR, of Mackenzie-Fort Smith, blessed Great Bear Lake during a Mass in the community of Délįnę, Northwest Territories.

The blessing took place during a yearly Spiritual Gathering hosted by the Délįnę community. The event brought together youth from various Indigenous communities across the North. The celebration combined Catholic spirituality with Dene traditions, including drum dances and hand games.
