A Summer of Aces for Lansdale Catholic Girls’ Volleyball Head Coach

Rachael Picozzi has been named the assistant principal for student services at Lansdale Catholic. She took the position just before the start of girls' volleyball tryouts, following the departure of her mother, Margaret, at the end of the 2025-26 school year.

Picozzi continues to serve as the head coach for the girls' volleyball team, a role she has held for eight years, and teaches one section of Honors Environmental Science. Lansdale Catholic President Meghan Callen stated that Picozzi is a well-respected teacher who has already set high expectations in her new administrative role.

In addition to her professional changes, Picozzi married Connor Silhanek on May 22 at St. Stanislaus Church in Lansdale. Members of the girls' volleyball team served as flower girls during the ceremony.
