Diocese of Pavia holds pilgrimage to San Riccardo Pampuri

Thousands of pilgrims will gather in Trivolzio on Saturday, September 5, for a pilgrimage to the sanctuary of St. Riccardo Pampuri. The event brings together faithful from various locations across Lombardy to visit the shrine that holds the remains of the saint.

Participants will begin their journey from three different starting points: Assago, Abbiategrasso, and Pavia. St. Riccardo Pampuri was a religious brother and doctor with the Fatebenefratelli who died in 1930 and was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 1989.
