Writer and poet Csanád Száva discussed how his background in philosophy influences his literary work in an interview with the Archdiocese of Alba Iulia. Born in Csíkszereda, Száva transitioned from studying philosophy at university to a career involving poetry, prose, translation, and children's literature.

Száva explained that he chose to study philosophy rather than philology to ensure his passion for literature would not be diminished by mandatory academic study. Although he entered the literary world later in life, he continues to incorporate philosophical reading and thought into his writing. His earlier work focused on the world of Csángó villages, following time spent teaching the Hungarian language in Lábnyik.
