Diocese of Massa Carrara–Pontremoli attends national catechist conference in Roma

Representatives from the Diocese of Massa Carrara–Pontremoli attended the national conference of diocesan catechetical offices in Rome from September 25 to 27. Sister Sandra Borruto, the diocesan director, and Silvia Laudanna represented the diocese at the event titled Abitare i passaggi di vita.

The conference focused on shifting Italian catechesis and pastoral work toward adults. Participants discussed prioritizing life transitions and crises as theological spaces for sharing the faith.

The Diocese of Massa Carrara–Pontremoli is currently implementing an experimental program through its Office of Evangelization and Catechesis. While this program targets children, it works through families as a primary point of contact.
