Abp Christophe-Zakhia El-Kassis speaks at UN conference

Archbishop Christophe-Zakhia El-Kassis spoke at a United Nations conference on September 17 to address how incitement to hatred fuels violence. As the new permanent observer of the Holy See to the UN, the archbishop participated in the event to promote interreligious and intercultural dialogue and tolerance.

During his address, Archbishop El-Kassis stated that disarming words is a first step toward building social peace and promoting a culture of dialogue, tolerance, and respect for differences.
