Actie Kerkbalans launches new website

Actie Kerkbalans has launched a redesigned website at kerkbalans.nl to assist local organizers in preparing for upcoming fundraising campaigns. The new digital platform features a clearer structure and a church finder tool, following user research into the needs and difficulties experienced with the previous site.

Anna Kruse stated that the website makes the annual campaign easier by helping organizers in parishes and congregations find information and campaign materials more quickly. The site also aims to help visitors understand the purpose of Actie Kerkbalans and how they can contribute to supporting their local churches.

Actie Kerkbalans is the largest financial fundraising campaign for churches in the Netherlands. The 2027 campaign period is scheduled to run from Saturday, January 16, to Saturday, January 30. The initiative involves members of the Rooms-Katholieke Kerk, the Protestantse Kerk in Nederland, the Oud-Katholieke Kerk van Nederland, and the Evangelische Broedergemeente, who provide contributions to sustain the work of their local parishes and congregations.
