Adolescente cristiano golpeado por proteger a mujeres en Pakistán

A 17-year-old Christian teenager, Ikhlaq Masih, was beaten by a mob in Nasrat Colony, Ajnianwala, Pakistan, after confronting a group of men for harassing local women.

According to ZENIT News Agency, the incident began on August 16, when Masih witnessed a group of men harassing a young woman. Neighbors reported that Ali Shah, the son of an influential local man, and his friends frequently visited the neighborhood to mock and follow young women as they walked to church. When Masih questioned the group about their behavior, the men used religious insults and called him a derogatory term used against Christians in Pakistan.

The group temporarily left but returned later that day when Masih was alone. Armed with pistols, iron bars, and motorcycle chains, the group ambushed Masih while shouting religious insults. Masih's parents, Saleem and Zakriya, were alerted by passersby and rushed to the scene. The family now faces medical expenses and basic living costs following the attack.
